At long last, the snow flies again in Northwest Connecticut. You know what that means, right? Our house is published in New England Home! I received a copy in my mailbox yesterday – which was completely and totally thrilling. To be honest, until the feature came out I hadn’t put a lot of thought into how deeply personal it is to share the interior design of your own private space in such a broad public forum. One has a bit more skin in the game when it’s your own home sweet home. The magazine went out to subscribers last week, and will be out on select newsstands January 21, 2014. Yesterday I was delighted to learn that they’ve posted entire story online: A Certain Je Ne Sais Quoi: A designers home in Sharon Connecticut. Also, if you’d like to order a print copy you can email Kate Koch, the Marketing and Administrative Manager at New England Home Magazine: kkoch[at]nehomemag[dot]comAll images of The Country House in this post are by Michael Partenio for New England Home Magazine. Also, I owe a BIG thank you to Karin Lidbeck Brent for believing in my style and to NE Home editor Kyle Hopener for seeing that this story got published – thank you!
