Earlier this Summer I told you about the 200 Gladiolus bulbs that we planted in the boxwood bed on the way to the mudroom door. Well, the time has come – they have started to bloom! I’ve never had Glads in the yard before, and unfortunately I’ve noticed the weight of the flowers are making the stems bend down towards the ground. As they become heavy with blooms I’ve been cutting them and bringing them inside rather than see them take a nose dive in the dirt. Do most people stake them up?
