A few weeks ago, I was contacted by High Point Market (@hpmarketnews) and told that Kincaid Furniture would like to sponsor my attendance to Market Week as a part of High Point’s Sponsored Design Blogger program.
Kincaid is known for their solid wood construction furniture with hand-rubbed finishes, and the strong focus that they have on their environmental stewardship policy. As a matter of fact, Kincaid adheres to the Eco3Home guidelines which means they are committed to incorporating eco-friendly business practices in not only their manufacturing, but also in their global operations as well as their product design and development. They also adhere to strict guidelines that focus on your safety, health, and the environment. For four generations Kincaid Furniture has been committed to domestic manufacturing in Western North Carolina. Eco friendly AND made in the USA? Sign.Me.Up. If you’re still not convinced, here is the kicker: How about the fact that Kincaid offers the ability to custom select design elements in your upholstered pieces? Now that is a very nice touch, indeed!
While the company got it’s start in 1946 building wardrobes and cedar chests, Kincaid eventually became a full-line furniture manufacturer by adding a line of custom upholstery back in 2000. After looking through their offerings, I realized that I couldn’t pass on this opportunity to build a relationship with Kincaid.Needless to say, it is my great honor to be sponsored by Kincaid to attend High Point for Market Week. They’ve already shown true Southern hospitality by offering up their showroom to me as my home away from home for the time I am there – I can’t wait to meet the entire team in just a few short weeks!
