You remember back when I introduced you to Michele Varian’s shop in Soho, don’t you? She recently moved her storefront up the block to a bigger multi-functional space at 27 Howard Street. The studio where she designs her line of luxurious scatter pillows is downstairs and the main floor is chalk full of delicious tabletop, home, and wearable accessories – only now there is even more to choose from. The last time I was into the shop, hard-bound penguin classic books caught my eye. They’re a gorgeous collection. The colors and patterns are fantastic. Wouldn’t they make a great gift for a young reader? The pug bookends? LOVE. I actually recently bought them as a surprise for the Mister – he’s always wanted a dog – wink! And the rabbit and owl hand-stitched, embroidered pocket dolls from Brooklyn are about as sweet as could be. While shopping around Michele Varian’s website this morning, I considered picking up a few Christmas prizes for my nieces and nephews… For all of you who are not in New York City, (heck, even for those of you who are!) Michele has curated a collection for Open Sky. Be sure to keep an eye on Michele Varian at Open Sky for special prices on some of her favorite items from the shop!
