I sent these rockers off to the furniture refinisher back in October. I got the call last week that they were done being lacquered and now I have to send them to the upholsterer. These guys up here work on country time – who knew it takes five months for a few coats of lacquer? Anyway, you remember the cool treatment I have planned for them, right? In further home decor news, I fell absolutely in love with this Edward Wormley for Dunbar mohair sofa (made in the USA back in 1967) from Irwin Feld Design at the Holiday House late last year. Luckily, no one has taken it home yet. So yesterday, I arranged to have it delivered to mine – whooo-hoo, I am excited! As you know, it’s always my preference to select vintage furniture over something new. I figure, if it was made fifty years ago and is still in amazing condition, it’s likely to exist fifty years from now. I look forward to growing old with my USA made Irwin Feld Design vintage mohair sofa!
