To those of you who are celebrating happy St. Patricks Day! Each year it’s my tradition to take a run along the Hudson River to watch all the “Leprechauns” make their way to the St. Patricks Day parade. It’s early enough that they have not had too much green beer – I find it just fascinating how into it people are. If you recall, last year (on this very day) I shared not one, but two different Irish Soda Bread Recipes on ABCD Design. This year, there will be no bread baking. My attention is turned to all things interior design. Today is the first day of the Architectural Digest Home Show! I always love this time of year. The AD Home Show is wonderfully inspiring to me. The show leans towards transitional home decor and that totally appeals to me. Don’t get me wrong, I can totally appreciate the clean, modern edges of ICFF, but I always come home from the AD Home Show ready to redecorate. Last year, I picked my top three at the show and wrote about them. This year, I am not sure how I will go about covering the show. What I do know is that I am eager to see Susan Serra’s new line of Scandinavian inspired eco friendly kitchen cabinetry called Bornholm Kitchen. I have been waiting for a year to see these pretties in real life. Today is the day! And don’t forget, tonight I’ll be on HGTV’s Selling New York at 9pm Eastern. To celebrate my television debut, we’re popping open a bottle of Veuve Cliquot, and I am having my friends over to watch the episode with me. One of my guests will be Maggie Kent a real estate agent for Core, and Selling NY star. She was the person who asked me to come help one of her clients. As luck would have it, I got written into the Selling NY script!
