Oh gosh, here I am with another Twitter story! Where else can you get a direct message from a world-renowned landscape designer who is interested in studying your new garden to give you ideas on how to make it better? Yep, you guessed it. TWITTER!Back in June, (just after we bought The Country House) Susan Cohan asked me if she could take a few pictures of my yard. She explained that she would show the images to twenty-two landscape and garden designers from around the world, and then they’d share their ideas for making it a better yard during the Garden Designers Roundtable case study in January. That sounded awesome to me! Why not, right? To participate in the roundtable, a new designer has to be nominated, guest post once and then get voted in by members. This isn’t some sort of rinky-dink operation! They’re the real deal, and I am delighted to get a bunch of interesting ideas on how to make our yard into something special! If you’re interested in seeing what they came up with, you can follow the story about my garden on the Garden Designers Roundtable blog and take part in the conversation on the GDR facebook page.
