A few weekends ago, I knocked one of my Hakusan tea cups off of the shelf in the laundry room. It fell to the cement floor and broke into no less than a thousand pieces. Originally, I purchased my tea and saucer sets at Michele Varian. Unfortunately, she no longer carries them. Since they are my very favorite cups to drink my morning espresso from, I became a woman on the hunt to replace my broken cup. Boy oh boy, I never thought I’d be glad to admit that I am a wee-bit clumsy. While searching to replace my cup, I found an amazing source for ceramics in my own backyard: Korin Japanese Trading Company.
I went to the shop the other day to replace my cup. As you can tell from the images I selected to show you, I was particularly drawn to their noodle and soup bowls. They’re nice and deep, which is completely perfect for soups, stews, and one pan winter meals! Oh, and could these owls be any cuter? I don’t think so.Items featured: Owl mugs, (set of four) -or- sold individually, Fusion White Donburi Bowl, Blue and White Bowl, Boulder Gray Wide Bowl, four Japanese Tea cups, Brown Hakeme Tea Set, Matte Black Bowl, Matte Black Plate, Matte rectangular serving platter, Espresso rim Hakusan tea cup
