Last night, (on my way to the Real Simple Rockefeller Tree lighting party) I made a quick stop at the 2010 Holiday House opening night Gala. The Holiday House is similar to other showhouses in that each designer gets a different space in the home to decorate. What’s the twist? All the rooms and dining tables are decked out in holiday finery – just the right thing to get you in the spirit of the season -that is- if I do say so myself! What’s the best part about this showhouse, you ask? The event benefits the Greater New York City Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Beautiful designer rooms + tabletop eye candy + it benefits charity = A win-win scenario! The Holiday House NYC is Located on the Upper East Side at 2 East 63rd Street, between Madison and Fifth. It’s perfectly located so that you can do some holiday shopping on Madison Avenue, and have lunch at Fred’s New York after taking the tour!
