Given that I have an empty living room in the country, and a bedroom in the city with no dresser drawers – I wonder if I should visit the NYDC sample sale this week? I’m bound to find an heirloom quality piece or two that suits our style. Since he’s in town for the #DesignTVtnt event – perhaps I will take Jonathan Legate along with me and I can bounce my interior design ideas off him!?!Whether it is on Twitter, or in real life he and I just *click* and I know a little shopping trip would be a whole lot of F-U-N! Speaking of which, I am driving to meet him in Stamford this afternoon. We’re going for some mid-century antiquing at Irwin Feld Design. (Don’t worry, if you can’t make it to Connecticut, you can still shop with them at 1st Dibs!)Afterwards, we’ll hustle back into the City. We’re going to the flower market early tomorrow morning to round-up flowers for the party tomorrow night. We’re styling the bar, so we should have a fabulous time! We’ve got about sixty of our Twitter friends attending The ‘Living With What You Love’ event at The New Traditionalists showroom. That’s a pretty good turn-out for a last minute soiree, don’t you agree? Don’t forget: One lucky ‘living with what you love‘ attendee will be walking away with a gorgeous, glossy white lacquer Dunes and Duchess candelabra! OMgosh! Talk about one of the best door prizes, EVER. Last but not least, keep your eyes on the Real Simple Pop-Up Shop. It’s happening December 1st-6th in Rockefeller Center. I bring your attention to it because a certain someone has been asked to take part. Hooray! That’s all I am saying for now –because to be honest– I am not sure how much that certain someone is allowed to divulge at this point!
