What’s a Halloween celebration in New York City without a Masquerade Ball to go to? That is exactly what I am thinking! The NYDC is hosting a spook-tacular party to benefit the Alpha Workshops, and I can’t help but want to attend. The theme of this year’s gala is “Le Vrai et Le Faux Chic,” which references the work of artist George Goursat, who portrayed wonderfully imaginative renditions of Paris Society at the turn of the 20th Century. You all know how much I love vintage posters – this would be my chance to live the night inside one!The NYDC has raised over $300,000 for Alpha Workshops over the past four years and is looking to bring in $100,000 this year. It’s a great cause, and is sure to be a a pretty amazing party. So what do you think, are you going to join us?
