Over the last few weeks I have been working “behind the scenes” on what seems like an endless number of ceremony program designs. Two went to print this week. Both of this weeks designs include similar elements – but they could not be more different!
HAILEY AND EVAN’S Program is an 8.5×11 sheet of paper, folded in half to measure 5.5inches wide. It’s a nice booklet size and is easy-breezy to print (no trimming) in case there are last minute changes.
The next page gives a little insight to the couple’s humor, a wink and a nod to other special touches they put into the wedding details that may be over-looked and (of course) a big thank-you note from the newlyweds.
MAGGIE AND TREVOR’S Program is a super precious size. Imagine an 8.5×11 sheet of paper cut long ways and folded in half.
Above you have the wedding party. I like how they separated “Representing the Bride” and “Representing the Groom”
Here we’ve got the order of the ceremony.
They’ve made the readings stand out by placing them together and just before the “big” thank you. I can’t stress how touching it is to say something from your heart at the end.
Several months ago I did a guest blog post on the Wishpot Blog outlining the key elements to include in a ceremony program. If you want more direction on what to include in your ceremony program, check out ‘Anatomy of a Program’ here.
