I must admit when it comes to birthday gifts and holiday prizes for the kids in her life Auntie ABCD always struggles to pick the right thing. I have a niece who is 6. A nephew who is 4 and another nephew who is just shy of 1.
You ever give what you think is a cool gift to a kid and they enjoy making a fort of the box more than the actual prize???
Yesterday I stumbled onto the best holiday prize a couple of kiddos would want, so I thought I would share! It’s called CardBoardDesign. They’ve got a tiny little store on West Broadway and sell all re-purposed cardboard!
For Olivia (6) What six year old wouldn’t want to set up a lemonade stand or a shop of some sort? I know that was right up my alley when I was her age! Looks a little like it could be a stage for a puppet show too … oh goodness all the possibilities – YAY!
For Charles (4) I struggled between the airplane and the rocket. Keep in mind that these are entirely blank canvases. Talk about a fun rainy afternoon activity – the rocket or plane might need a custom paint job! Nice.
They are so well priced that Charles is getting both the rocket AND the airplane! I have a feeling that the Baby Boy will be getting in on the fun pretty soon …
P.S. CardBoarDesign has a whole line of furniture and vases too. It’s amazingly strong and comfortable! I sat at the desk on one of the chairs and could not believe it. Look how much the bookshelves will hold! Cool stuff.
